Faculty Position in Theoretical High Energy Physics
The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Utah invites applications for a tenure-track position in theoretical high energy physics, broadly defined. The anticipated start date is July/August 2020. Senior appointments may also be considered.
Qualified applicants in all areas of theoretical high energy physics are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates would complement our existing strengths in high energy phenomenology, dark matter physics, theoretical particle astrophysics and cosmology, lattice gauge theory, and field theory.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Physics/Astronomy or a closely related field, a demonstrated record of accomplishment and innovation, and dedication to teaching and mentoring.
Review of applications will begin November 30, 2019 and will continue until the position is filled.
Applications must include a curriculum vitae, a statement of research interests and plans, a statement of teaching philosophy, a statement of commitment and contributions to diversity and inclusion, and at least three letters of recommendation.
